Dentina cariada externa e interna
1.-Generalidades
Desde 1970 Takao Fusayama y colaboradores han publicado números estudios donde investigan la composición de la caries dental, desde la Universidad de Medicina y Odontología de Tokio (Tokyo Medical and Dental University). (1, 2, 3)
Después de realizar múltiples estudios histológicos, bioquímicos y microscópicos los investigaciones identificaron que la dentina cariada presentaba dos capas muy diferentes en composición. (1, 2, 3)
- Dentina cariada externa: que está infectada, no remineralizable, muerta e insensible. (1, 2, 3)
- Dentina cariada interna: que se encuentra ligeramente infectada, sensible y es remineralizable. (1, 2, 3)
